Located in a quiet area and immersed in the fairytale scenery of the green Marche hinterland, the Aiolina farmhouse offers its guests the opportunity to take a break from the noise and hectic pace of city life.

The old farmhouse

The Aiolina is an old farmhouse within an organic farm owned by the same family since the 18th century. It was renovated in 2001 with particular care in preserving the characteristics of the typical stone houses of the upper Metauro valley. The life of the sharecropping farm families took place here and you can still feel that warm atmosphere in the wide comfy living room on the ground floor…

The lake

Only a few properties can boast the vastness of Aiolina’s outdoor spaces. The meadows around the farmhouse cover a large area of several hectares and, just 300 meters walk beyond the gate, but still inside the family farm, there is a beautiful lake well maintained by the local fishing club, where guests can practice sport fishing for free…

Sant’Angelo in Vado

Sant’Angelo in Vado has medieval origins, it was built on the ruins of the Roman “Tifernum Mataurense”, an ancient Municipality destroyed during the Gothic war (6th century) whose archaeological remains are still preserved.

Urbania

Urbania, formerly Casteldurante, is a small town full of monuments located in the centre of the upper Metauro valley. The ancient ceramics of Casteldurante, produced by local skilled majolica artisans, are famous all over the world. Thanks to the patronage of the Roveresque court, the ceramics masters were able to benefit from the collaboration of famous painters, giving birth to the “Istoriato” genre.
