The Aiolina farmhouse is located in the immediate vicinity of Sant’Angelo in Vado, an ancient Roman Municipality rich in history and traditions and famous for being the land of the rare white truffle (Tuber Magnum Pico). This small town, with its valuable open archaeological site, rich in mosaics from the 1st century A.D., is one of the most fascinating places to visit in the province of Pesaro Urbino. Urbino, city of art and UNESCO heritage site, is only 30 km away, but the whole area between Montefeltro and the Apennines contains pearls of rare beauty and great value, whose glimpses are represented in the paintings of Raphael and Piero Della Francesca.

Within a few kilometers, the town of Urbania offers ducal memories and precious Renaissance ceramics, but not far from here you can also find other very suggestive places to visit such as the delightful historic village of Mercatello sul Metauro with its well-preserved medieval center, the spectacular Gola del Furlo State Nature Reserve, the magnificent Gubbio, the ancient fortresses of San Leo and San Marino, the Gradara castle and the elegant seaside towns of Pesaro and Fano.
For sports lovers, in addition to fishing and hiking, there are also several mountain bikes trails and a golf course, less than 10 km away, near the pretty small village of Borgo Pace.
